G.H. 2.4

So in this blog, all the pictures are just how I make one stitch. It looks kind of complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes much easier. The stitch that I am demonstrating step by step in the pictures is a half double crochet stitch.
My weekly goal this week was to get a couple of more rows done on my scarf. I really cranked it out this week and did four rows. I think that the scarf is going to take me a little longer then I originally planned. This might effect at what time I will start the headband. I plan on still completing the headband along with the scarf though.
This project has forced me to use time management skills, and try to focus on the bigger picture. Hopefully this blog helped you see a little into the process of crocheting!

  1. I have many family members who crochet and so it looks familiar. My grandma is making a blanket for me, and my mom makes hats and scarfs often. I've heard from them that it is very time consuming and repetitive. It takes a lot of patience and time to complete a project. Hats off to you for taking on this challenge for your genius hour.

  2. This looks really complicated. My grandmother used to crochet, and I would always act like I was a pirate with her tool... anyway I don't know why I'm telling you this... All in all, it looks like you're doing a great job and getting the hang of it!
